MillerCoors, Inc | Engine Room Code Modifications

  

Our work for MillerCoors involved an evaluation and renovation of the "Engine Room" for various life safety concerns relating to the ammonia based cooling equipment used in the space.

Work required an evaluation of the building and systems to provide required fire ratings. This highly technical project included detailed survey work to document all existing penetrations in the century old structure as well as research into appropriate methods for sealing the openings.

After the survey, strategies were developed to seal all existing openings and penetrations with a minimum of one hour rated construction, and all vertical access points to the existing tunnels were enclosed.
Dry Hootch Coffee House | Coffee House and Office

  

Nagel Architects was commissioned to renovate an existing structure into a new coffee house for Dryhooch, a non-profit set up to help military veterans and their families by providing a drug and alcohol free space for veterans to gather and socialize.

Beyond the renovation required to make the space accessible, work included creation of a new retail space and retrofitting on an elevator for access to the second story offices
